Sinopec GWEC (Ningxia) Sewage Treatment Plant

Project profile:

Sinopec Great Wall Energy  & Chemical (Ningxia) Group (Sinopec GWEC) invested 61.7 billion RMB and built Ningdong  acetylene Chemical Industrial Park in Ningxia AutonomousRegion, to build a first-class modern energy chemical industrial group in Chinaand famous coal chemical enterprise worldwide.

Based on localresources such as coal, limestone and crude salt resources in Ningdong andcoal-based co-production projects, Sinopec GWEC built three principal lines of calciumcarbide-acetylene, coal-methanol, sodium hydroxide-chlorine industry chains, in accordance with the concepts of  large-scale equipment, apparatus, polygeneration, and industrial integration, followed by the circular economy and sustainable development principles of adhering to reduction, reuse and recycling to build a modern chemical demonstration base and eco industrial park featured by economies of scale, advanced technology, clean production, and strong competitiveness.

The water processed by thesewage and reuse water treatment system needs to meet the water quality requirements of recycled water reuse according to Code for Design of Wastewater Reclamationand Reuse (GB50335-2002).

Designed processing scale:

The designed total production ofsewage water is 28800 m3/d,and the designed total biochemical system is 43200m3/d.

The designed circulatingwater production is 53280m3/d.
